Air Force Men’s Tennis Completes Action At ITA Bedford Cup

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force men's tennis completed the final day hosting the 2019 ITA Bedford Cup In The Mountains on Sunday, at the Air Force Outdoor Intercollegiate Tennis Courts. Senior Mack Galvin and freshman Morgan Ihrig led the way for the Falcons.

Galvin and Ihrig were finalists in doubles, going 4-1 on the weekend. The duo fell in the finals to Castelino/Del Valle of Denver 6-3.

Ihrig was also the finalist in the Silver Draw singles, posting a 3-1 record for the weekend. Ihrig dropped the finals match to Jose Ortego of Southern Utah in three sets, 4-6, 6-1, 6-2.

Freshman Denali Kitayama also finished strong for the Falcons, posting a pair of wins in the W/L bracket of the Silver draw. Kitayama defeated Nick Wade or Northern Colorado and John Zakowski of Denver 6-2, 6-2.

The Falcons return to action next weekend at the Idaho State Invite in Pocatello, Idaho.
