The Falcon Athletic Fund set a new milestone raising $2.26 million during the fiscal year
U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- A strong competition season was matched by a successful fundraising year in 2019-20 for Air Force athletics. The Falcon Athletic Fund set a new milestone, raising $2.26 million during the fiscal year, showing the continued investment in USAFA's 27 intercollegiate athletic programs.
"Support through the Falcon Athletic Fund continues to fuel our efforts to produce and sustain championship caliber programs here at the USAFA" said Director of Athletics Nathan Pine. "We cannot thank our donors and partners enough for their continued investment in securing the margin of excellence for our cadet-athletes."
The Falcon Athletic Fund continues to see success year over year, as total contributions increased nine percent while the number of members increased eight percent. These totals include giving to the Excellence in Athletics Fund as well as sport-specific projects, successful events such as A Night of Excellence, Giving Tuesday and many other initiatives that support USAFA's 1,000 cadet-athletes.
As we navigate the unknown, it is more important now, more than ever, to secure the margin of excellence for our cadet-athletes. Your continued support will help secure the necessary resources to maintain and elevate the cadet-athlete experience and fuel championships. Give today to the Falcon Athletic Fund, and help our cadet-athletes go higher, faster, and further than their competition.
