Twelve different Falcons scored in win over Iona

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Twelve different Falcons scored to lead Air Force to a 22-9 win over Iona on the final day of the Julian Fraser Memorial Tournament, Sunday, Oct. 24, in Santa Clara, Calif. Grant Snyder led the Falcons with five goals.
Corey Tanis scored the first two goals of the game as the Falcons had a 6-2 lead at the end of the first. Snyder scored three in the second quarter as the Falcons built a 12-4 lead. The Falcons scored six in the third quarter and four more in the fourth for the 22-9 win. Sam De La Cruz had four goals while Tanis had three and Henry Yavitt had two.
The Falcons are now off until the final regular-season game, and final conference game, at Cal Baptist, Nov. 6, in Riverside, Calif.
