AFA’s Morgan Kreb is Rifle Athlete the Week

U.S. Air Force Academy, Colo. – Feb 1: Air Force freshman Morgan Kreb (Colorado Springs, CO) is this week's Rifle Athlete of the Week. Kreb (CS38) was the top individual finisher for Air Force in the matches against Patriot Rifle Conference opponents #1 TCU and UTEP on Jan. 31.

The freshman marksman set a personal best in the smallbore event on Sunday at the Falcon Rifle Range. Kreb shot a 585 in the six series: kneeling (193), prone (199), and standing (193). She is currently averaging a 580.286 in the rifle.

Kreb also scored a 594 in the air rifle with of 197, 199, and 198. She finished the event with an aggregate score of 1179. Her season average in the rifle is 592. She is the team's second-highest finisher for the season in both rifles, and has the second-highest total score (1179).

Here scores this past weekend helped the Falcons to beat UTEP 4685-4548. The Falcons lost to #1 TCU (4709).
