Sports Camp registration begins
3/1/2021 9:00:00 AM | General
Registration for the 2021 Air Force Sports Camps, presented by Centura Health, begins Monday, Mar. 1. Camp dates are June 7-23. Space is limited and camps are expected to fill up quickly. Campers are encouraged to register early to guarantee a spot. Payment plans are available and camp registration closes May 16. If spots remain available, a late period will be offered May 17-31. Camp registration and other information is available at www.goairforcefalcons.com/camps.
This year's camps will look a little different, but again will feature two full weeks of camps (4.5 days) in session one and two, Monday through Friday and a shorter, two and one-half day offering in session three. There will also be a handful of specialty camps. All camps will be commuter day camps, as there will be no boarders in 2021.
Air Force cadets will be heavily involved in all aspects of camps, and our commuter camps will feature more cadet interaction than any year previously. The Academy continues to work with USAFA and local public health officials and the focus of camps will be keeping participants, coaches and all involved safe.
USADA TrueSport has recognized AF Sports Camps for the seventh straight year. TrueSport is an initiative powered by USADA that provides training or programs that encompass many different lessons, including nutrition, supplement safety use of energy drinks, accountability, and winning the right way. Only a handful of camps receive lessons, which TrueSport Ambassadors teach in each session. In addition, Gatorade is once again providing support with products for campers.
