Paul Hendrix Earns A Pair of ITA Awards

Senior Paul Hendrix of Air Force men's tennis earned a pair of awards for the 2020-21 season from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). Hendrix earned the Arthur Ashe Leadership & Sportsmanship Award for the ITA Mountain Region. In addition, he also earned the ITA Rafael Osuna Sportsmanship Award.

Hendrix was Air Force's team MVP for the 2020-21 season, earning his second-consecutive All-Mountain West honors in both singles and doubles play. Hendrix competed at No. 1 singles and doubles for the second straight season for the Falcons.

Hendrix now competes for the national awards for both honors, which will be announced Monday, June 21.

In addition to the awards, the ITA released its final rankings for the season, with Air Force earning the No. 6 doubles ranking for the Mountain Region. The doubles duo of Hendrix and senior Jamie Bautista earned the ranking for the Falcons for its highest ranking since 2015.
