Men’s Tennis With Program-Record Eight On Academic All-MW Team

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force men's tennis placed a program-record eight cadet-athletes on the Mountain West All-Academic Team for the 2021 Spring Sports, announced by the conference office.
The Falcons continue to raise the bar academically, as they came off a 2020 season with four all-academic honorees, which was the most in 14 years.
Recently graduated senior Jamie Bautista (3.25 - Civil Engineering) led the way with his fourth all-academic honor. Recent graduate Sean McKendree (3.93 - Mechanical Engineering) earned his third honor. Rising junior Justin Waldman (3.89 - Biology) earned his second honor.
Recent graduate Paul Hendrix (3.10 - Behavioral Sciences), rising juniors Morgan Ihrig (3.23 - Management), Jonathan Mascagni (3.19 - Economics) and Jase Wild (3.91 - Biology) and rising sophomore Nick Vroman (3.69 - Undeclared) also picked up their first honors.
To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and be a starter or significant contributor on their athletic team.
