Falcons With Four MW Scholar-Athletes

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force men's tennis had four cadet-athletes earn Mountain West Scholar-Athlete honors, announced today by the conference office. The four scholar-athletes tied a program record.
Recently graduated senior Sean McKendree (3.93 - Mechanical Engineering) earned his third honor. Rising juniors Justin Waldman (3.89 - Biology) and Jase Wild (3.91 - Biology) earned their second honors. Rising sophomore Nick Vroman (3.69 - Undeclared) also picked up his first honor.
The Falcons tied the 2002 and 2003 teams for most MW scholar-athletes in program history. The day prior, Air Force set a program record with eight MW All-Academic honorees.
To be eligible for the 2020-21 Scholar-Athlete team, student-athletes must have completed at least two semesters or three quarters at the member institution, while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher. The athletic contribution/participation requirement has been omitted for this award this year due to the impact of COVID-19.
