Falcons Announce 2021 Cross Country Schedule

Air Force will open the season in Colorado Springs on Saturday, Sept. 4.
USAF ACADEMY, Colo. – The Air Force cross country team, under the direction of eighth-year head coach Ryan Cole, announced its eight-meet schedule for the upcoming 2021 season this morning (July 27). The Falcons will compete in five regular-season races, as they prepare for the championship portion of the season.
The Falcons kick off the 2021 campaign on Saturday, Sept. 4, when they the Air Force Open in Colorado Springs. The squad then travels to Lincoln, Neb., for the Woody Greeno/Jay Dirksen Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 18, before heading to Springfield, Ore., for the Bill Dellinger Invitational on Thursday, Sept. 23. Following another meet in Colorado Springs – the UCCS Open – on Saturday, Oct. 15, Air Force will close out the regular season at the prestigious Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational on Friday, Oct. 15.
The championship portion of the season begins in late October, as the Air Force men look to defend their conference title at the Mountain West Championships in San Jose, Calif., on Thursday, Oct. 28. The Falcons will race at the NCAA Mountain Regional in Provo, Utah, on Friday, Nov. 12, before closing out the season at the NCAA Cross Country Championships in Tallahassee, Fla., on Saturday, Nov. 20.
