Air Force Men’s Tennis Completes Competition At ITA Bedford Cup

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force men's tennis completed final day action hosting the 2021 ITA Bedford Cup In The Mountains on Saturday, at the Air Force Outdoor Intercollegiate Tennis Courts.

Freshman Kyle Garner finished runner-up in the Silver Draw, going 3-1 on the weekend. Garner lost in the championship in three sets to Daniel Krulig of Denver 3-6, 6-3, 6-3.

The Falcons picked up four wins in final day action. Air Force won a pair of doubles as Robert Baylon and Jordan Azuma won their match, as did William Kesterson and Brian Garcia. Kesterson and Garcia defeated the duo of Huttepain/Eden from Army 6-1.

In singles play, freshman Arjun Kersten defeated Patrico Garcia of Denver 6-2, 6-2. Kesterson also won in doubles, defeating Jack Ninteman of Utah State 6-3, 4-6, 1-0 (7).

Corey Clarke/Gijs Akkermans of New Mexico State won the doubles draw, defeating Matej Panik/Daan Van Dijk of Montana State 6-3. The blue singles draw champion was Tristan Sarap of Weber State, who defeated #1 James Davis of Denver, 6-4, 6-4.
