Silver Defeats Blue 6-1 In Men’s Tennis Scrimmage

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force men's tennis began preparations for the 2021-22 season with the annual Blue-Silver scrimmage as part of Parent's Weekend on Thursday afternoon at the Indoor Tennis Courts. The Silver team defeated the Blue 6-1.

"We had a great time competing again today and I'm so glad our families were able to be here on campus to watch," head coach Dan Oosterhous said. "This scrimmage gives our freshman their first taste of college team tennis and they all performed well today.
I'm excited to take the team on the road next weekend to compete in Denver and Boise."

With rain showers coming down during warmups, the scrimmage was moved to the indoor tennis courts.

Air Force opens the Fall season next weekend in split squad action. One group heads to the Boise State Tournament Sept. 10-12 and another group heads to the Metro State Tournament Sept. 11-12.
