U.S. Air Force Academy, Colo. – Air Force Athletics and the Falcon Athletic Fund announced the launch of the Falcon Priority Points system. The priority points system will be utilized by Air Force Athletics and the Falcon Athletic Fund to ensure an equitable and consistent ticket allocation process and access to Air Force Athletics events, tickets and benefits. The points system is designed to reward loyalty, longevity, and generosity in financial contributions in support of Air Force Athletics.
Priority points systems are an industry standard, and the Falcon Priority Points will take effect immediately. The program will be used to facilitate priority seating and ticket allocations for athletic events such as Air Force vs. Army/Navy games, NCAA post-season championship events, road games and bowl games. The priority point system will allow for a fair and equitable process for seat selection and allocation for the new East Club at Falcon Stadium and other premium seating interest lists. The Falcon Priority Points system will also be utilized to access exclusive donor events and receptions. Falcon Athletic Fund members and season-ticket holders can access and see their total points and current rank by logging into their account via FalconAthleticFund.com and AFTickets.com or by clicking here.
"Utilizing a priority point system is a national best practice and I'm glad to see ours put into place," Senior Associate Athletic Director of External Operations Matt McGahey said. "The primary purpose of the Falcon Priority Points system is to ensure equity while recognizing and rewarding our most loyal supporters for their past, current and future support. We want all Falcon Fans to know their loyalty, consecutive years of giving and investment in season tickets is important to us. Launching a priority points system allows our athletic department to better steward and acknowledge those loyal supporters. Investments in Air Force Athletics provides all donors, season ticket holders and fans with the opportunity to increase their Falcon Priority Point total prior to major events such as our game vs Army at Empower Field at Mile High in 2023 and the opening of the East Club at Falcon Stadium in 2024."
Falcon Athletic Fund members and season-ticket holders will earn priority points by purchasing season tickets, giving to the Falcon Athletic Fund, and loyalty points.
In order to account for lifetime giving, support, and season-ticket holders prior to 2015, Air Force Athletics will open a window for this support to be captured. Past season-ticket holders will receive two points for each year of being a season-ticket holder prior to 2015 (FB, HO, MB, WBB, VB, WR) and one point for every $100 given to the AFAAC since its creation. Details and instructions on how Falcon Athletic Fund members and season-ticket holders will redeem their historical points will be sent at a later date. Falcon Athletic Fund members and season-ticket holders will receive email communication from the Falcon Athletic Fund fully explaining the Falcon Priority Points system, priority rank, and how both will be utilized.
Those who have additional questions surrounding the Falcon Priority Points program are encouraged to contact the Falcon Athletic Fund Office at 719-333-4545 or giving@airforceathletics.org.
