Peltier earns Mountain West Diver of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – San Diego State junior Alex Roberts has been named Mountain West Swimmer of the Week, while Air Force senior Gabrielle Peltier has been tabbed Diver of the Week, and San Diego State's Abby Storm
has earned Freshman of the Week honors.
This is the first time Roberts, Peltier, and Storm have received Mountain West Athlete of the Week honors.
SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
ALEX ROBERTS, SAN DIEGO STATE
Junior, Visalia, California/ Redwood HS
- Helped the Aztecs win the SMU invitational.
- Took first in the 100-yard backstroke with a career-fast swim of 52.90 in the A Finals, ranking second in program history.
- Logged a first-place win in the A finals of the 200-yard back. During preliminaries, she recorded a career-fast time of 1:54.91.
- Placed fifth in the A Finals of the 200 individual medley with a career best time of 2:01.39.
- Won the B Finals of the 100 butterfly with a season-fast time of 53.90.
GABRIELLE PELTIER, AIR FORCE
Senior, Colorado Springs, Colorado/ Rampart
- Took first on the platform dive with a winning score of 251.60.
- Scored a 293.3 in the three-meter dive, finishing fifth.
- Placed seventh in the one-meter dive with a score of 249.5.
- Contributed to the Falcons placing second at the Phill Hansel Invitational.
ABBY STORM, SAN DIEGO STATE
Denver, Colorado/ Chatfield HS
- Placed second in the 100-yard backstroke with a 54.28 time
- Finished fourth in the 200-yard back clocking in at 1:58.82.
- Set season-bests in both the 100-yard and 200-yard back.
- Helped the Aztecs capture the team title at the SMU Invitational.
