
Air Force Men’s Tennis Welcomes Class of 2026

Air Force men's tennis welcomes four freshman that comprise the class of 2026, announced today by head coach Dan Oosterhous. The four freshmen arrived at the Academy for in-processing and the start of their four-year playing career at the Academy.
Jack Brown, Phillip Deaton, AJ Moore and Kabir Rajpal join the Falcons this season, all-coming to the Academy as nationally-ranked high school players. The group consists of a five-star, a pair of four-star recruits and a national top 10 player.
""I'm so excited to see these guys here," Oosterhous said. "They all accepted the challenge of coming to the Air Force Academy and I can't wait to coach them. This is a very strong class and I expect they will be competing for lineup spots very soon and make a big impact this year."
Jack Brown - Scottsdale, AZ (Brophy College Prep)
Tennis Recruiting national ranking of #93 and highest ranking of 76 and four-star recruit … #2 ranked player in the state of Arizona … two-time team state champion … teamed with his brother to win a state doubles title … high school All-American … member of National Honor Society … high school coach was Eric Chalmers … club coach was Dave Critchley.
Phillip Deaton - Seattle, WA (Bellarmine College Prep)
Tennis Recruiting national ranking of #106 and highest ranking of #102 and four-star recruit … #2 ranked player in the state of Washington and the Pacific Northwest … lettered two years in high school … team MVP both years, team captain and state winner for Washington 1X … honors society member and graduated with 3.99 GPA … high school was Dick Snyder … also played for Mercer Island Country Club and was coached by Jesse Walter.
AJ Moore - Irvine, CA (Portola HS)
Tennis Recruiting national ranking of #82 and highest ranking of #62 and five-star recruit … #19 ranked player in California … lettered four years in tennis … league champion as a junior and senior … helped lead Portola to back-to-back CIF Championships (Div. II in 2021 and Div. I in 2022) … graduated as a scholar athlete … ranked top 10 in SoCal and top 70 in the nation on the club circuit … high school coach was Natasha Schottland … club coaches were Eric Diaz and Cecil Mammit.
Kabir Rajpal - Syosset, NY (Syosset HS)
Tennis Recruiting national ranking of #18 in 2020 (attended USAFA Prep School in 2021-22) … national recruit, top 10 in the country and top ranked recruit from the east coast … two-time All-American … went undefeated in high school play (45-0) … high school coach was Shai Fisher … club coach was Wael Kilani.
