Eli Bennett Earns USTFCCCA Academic Honors

NEW ORLEANS – Air Force junior Eli Bennett earned All-Academic honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Association this afternoon (Jan. 26). It is the first selection for Bennett, who became the 10th Falcon to garner USTFCCCA academic honors at the Division I level.
To receive individual academic citations from the USTFCCCA, athletes must meet the association's GPA minimum and place within the top-25 of their respective regional championship. Bennett, an aeronautical engineering major, was an all-region honoree after finishing 25th at the NCAA Mountain Regional.
In all, 124 NCAA Division I student-athletes were named to the men's USTFCCCA All-Academic Team.
