Falcons shoot 4708 in NCAA Qualifier

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – The Air Force rifle team closed out the regular season by shooting a 4708 in an NCAA Qualifier, Saturday, Feb. 18, at the Academy's Cadet Rifle Range.
The top Air Force shooters were junior Peninah D'Souza and sophomore Scott Rockett who each shot an 1177 aggregate. Junior Morgan Kreb was right behind them with an 1176.
Sophomore Lauren Hurley was the top Falcon in smallbore at 585, followed by Rockett (584), Kreb (583) and D'Souza (582). D'Souza was the top Falcon in air rifle at 595, followed by Rockett (593), Kreb (593), senior Jordan Williams (593) and freshman Victoria Leppert (593).
Air Force will now wait for the NCAA Selection Show on Monday, Feb. 20, at 1 pm MT to determine if the Falcons qualify for nationals for the ninth straight year. A link to the show will be on the front page of NCAA.com.
