Air Force wraps up Day Two of Diving Invitational

All Air Force Academy home and away intercollegiate athletic events will be held as scheduled during the government shutdown. Funding for these events, along with travel/logistical support will be provided by the Air Force Academy Athletic Corporation (AFAAC). Updates to this website will be significantly reduced and delayed. There will be no video streaming of home athletic events.

Air Force wraps up Day Two of Diving Invitational

USAFA, Colo.- At the penultimate day of competition at the Air Force Diving Invitational, the Falcons saw one of its own qualify for the final round during Friday's competition.

Competing in the 1-meter dive, Grace Treanor was the lone Air Force diver to qualify for the finals round following a preliminary total of 237.50. Treanor eventually placed 8th overall as the result of a finals score of 261.45.

Gabrielle Peltier, after qualifying for the final round in yesterday's 3-meter competition, placed 15th among the 43 preliminary divers with a score of 221.55. Jillian Rastello (187.15) finished 32nd in the early round, while Ashlyn Foster (177.95) and Ashley Griffith (152.30) placed 38th and 42nd, respectively.

The Falcons will conclude competition as host of the Air Force Diving Invitational tomorrow, as the divers will focus solely on the platform dive. The event is scheduled to begin at 10:00 am MT.
