Air Force Drops Contest at Utah State

Air Force men's tennis dropped a 4-1 road contest at Utah State (8-11, 1-2 MW) in Mountain West action Thursday morning at the Sports Academy and Racquet Club in Logan, Utah. The Falcons dropped to 11-7, 0-3 MW on the season.
Utah State opened by winning at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles for the point. Air Force's No. 1 doubles duo of Arjun Kersten and Jonthan Mascagni led 6-5 before the Aggies clinched the doubles point.
In singles, Utah State won at No. 1 and No. 4 to take a 3-0 lead.
Freshman Phillip Deaton put the Falcons on the scoreboard with a win at No. 3. Deaton defeated Stijn Paardekooper in three sets, 6-4, 6-7, 6-4 for the win.
The Aggies clinched the match with a win at No. 2, as Nick Vroman fell in three sets to Bodin Zarkovic.
Air Force returns to action Saturday, April 8 at Boise State.
