
Air Force Men’s Tennis Welcomes Class of 2027

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force men's tennis welcomes four freshmen that comprise the class of 2027, announced today by interim head coach Evan Urbina. The four freshmen arrived at the Academy for in-processing and the start of their four-year playing career at the Academy.
Michael Choi, Phillip Dell, Alec Fritzinger and Tyler Leaird join the Falcons this season, all-coming to the Academy as nationally-ranked high school players. The group, consisting of two five-star, and two four-star recruits, was the 14th-ranked mid-major men's tennis class according to TennisRecruiting.net.

Tennis recruiting national ranking of #62 and highest ranking of #37 and five-star recruit … top-ranked player from Illinois … competed for Eola Tennis Academy and was coached by John Mittvick ... sister, Samantha, is a Naval Academy graduate and played on the tennis team … brother, Paul, is a Coast Guard Academy graduate and played on the tennis team.
Phillip Dell - Bradenton, FL (FLVS HS)
Tennis recruiting national ranking of #110 and highest ranking of #34 and four-star recruit … two-time Florida State Champion (18's and 14's) … ranked top 100 in the nation across four age divisions.
Alec Fritzinger - Goldsboro, NC (South Carolina Connections Academy)
Tennis recruiting national ranking of #88 and highest ranking of #67 and five-star recruit … #4 ranked player from North Carolina.
Tyler Leaird - Ocala, FL (West Port HS)
Tennis Recruiting national ranking of #120 and highest ranking of #111 and four-star recruit … high school coach was Lyle Livengood … three-time Ocala Star Banner tennis player of the year … helped lead team to Ocala Country Championship.
