
Seven Cadet-Athletes Earn Academic Excellence Award

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Seven Air Force Academy cadet-athletes earned the 1A FAR (Faculty Athletics Representative) Academic Excellence Award for 2023.
This award recognizes outstanding student-athletes for their significant accomplishments in the classroom while competing at the highest level of college sports.
The seven Falcons to earn the honor, all 2023 USAFA graduates, are Aidan Boyle (Cross Country/Track and Field), Shea Burcham (Swimming and Diving), Alex Hirjoi (Water Polo), Anna Kemper (Swimming and Diving), Brandon Koch (Ice Hockey), Carter Murphy (Basketball) and Justin Waldman (Tennis).
The award is given annually to student-athletes who graduate with a cumulative GPA of 3.80 or above and have participated in at least two years of NCAA intercollegiate athletics at a Football Bowl Subdivision institution.
