Air Force Downed By #13 San Jose State

The Spartans took control of the game early, leading 4-1 after the first quarter and 7-2 at halftime. Air Force got its offense going in the second-half, scoring three goals in the third and four in the fourth.
Sophomores Tom Leggett and Jack Richards led the Falcons with three goals each. With his three goals, Leggett tied the school record for most points in a season with 181. He is now tied with Grant Snyder, who accomplished the feat in 2022. Senior Kaito Ham also added two goals.
Freshman Jay Pyle logged 16 minutes in goal in the start, recording five saves. Junior Luca Smith played the back 16, recording six saves.
Air Force returns to action at the 2024 WCC Men's Water Polo Championships, held Nov. 22-24 in Stockton, Calif., with Pacific as the host institution. The Falcons play as the six-seed and will face third-seed San Jose State. The game is slated for a noon PT start.
