Jack Ransone to Serve as Athletic Trainer on Team USA World Cross Country Championship Staff

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. – Dr. Jack Ransone, the athletic trainer for the Air Force track & field and cross country teams, will be serving as the Head Athletic Trainer on the Team USA staff at the World Athletics Cross Country Championships this Saturday (March 30) in Belgrade, Serbia.
Ransone, no stranger to the international stage and brings a wealth of knowledge to the Team USATF staff. He has previously served as the head athletic trainer for Team USA at the World Cross Country Championships in 2017, 2015, 2009 and 2007, while also working as an athletic trainer at three Olympic Games (2012 London, 2008 Beijing, 2004 Athens), two World Track and Field Championships (2011 Outdoor, 2001 Indoor), two Continental Cups (2013, 2010) and the 2003 Pan American Games. Ransone also oversaw the athletic training needs of the U.S. National Wrestling Teams during their 2002 Tour of Europe) and at the 2000 Olympic Qualifiers.
The 2024 World Athletics Cross Country Championships will take place at the Park of Friendship, along the Danube River, in Belgrade Serbia, on Saturday, March 30. There are five races on the schedule for Team USA, including the senior men's and women's 10K, the Under-20 men's 8K, the Under-20 women's 6K, and an 8K mixed relay.
