Air Force Men’s Downed By #57 Boise State at MW Championships

Air Force men's tennis dropped a 4-0 contest to #57 Boise State (18-10, 5-1 MW) at the 2024 Mountain West Men's Tennis Championships Wednesday afternoon at the Darling Tennis Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Falcons, playing as the seven-seed, were eliminated from the championships and cap the season.
Boise State opened with the doubles point with win at No. 2 and 3. The match at No. 1 doubles between Arjun Kersten and Jack Brown vs.. Marquard/Sippel was tied at 4-4 when the Broncos clinched.
In singles, Boise State won at No. 5, 6 and clinched at 4. Kersten, who earned All-MW honors in singles and doubles, was up a set at No. 1 before Boise State clinched. AJ Moore and Alec Fritzinger were tied 1-1 at No. 2 and 3 singles before Boise State clinched.
Air Force is slated to return all but one player off the 2023-24 team. Senior Nick Vroman capped his career at Air Force, playing at No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles.
