
Watrall Earns USFCA National Collegiate Women’s Epee Newcomer Of The Year

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Christina Watrall of Air Force fencing earned a United State Fencing Coaches Association National Award for the 2023-24 season, announced by the USFCA. Watrall was named the USFCA Div. I Women's Epee National Newcomer of the Year.
Watrall had a standout freshman season at Air Force, garnering several accolades. She was the NCAA West Regional women's epee Champion after going 14-1. She was also named MPSF Women's Fencing Newcomer of the Year. The Mahwah, NJ, native was Air Force's top performer on the women's team at the NCAA Championships, placing 13th with 11 victories.
Watrall was the lone representative from the MPSF programs to earn a USFCA National Collegiate Award.
