Baseball, Men’s and women’s tennis and rifle all receive 1000
Air Force had 14 programs earn 990 or better and four earn a perfect score of 1,000 in the latest NCAA four-year Academic Progress Rate (APR) scores, which are based on data for the 2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22 and 2022-23 academic years.
The baseball, men's and women's tennis programs and rifle teams all earned a perfect score of 1,000. The football (992), men's cross country (990), men's gymnastics (990), ice hockey (991), lacrosse (996), men's swimming and diving (992), men's track and field (991), women's gymnastics (993), women's swimming and diving (990) and volleyball (990) programs all received scores of 990 or better.
Each academic year, every Division I sports team calculates its APR using a simple and consistent formula. Each term, scholarship student-athletes can earn 1 point for remaining eligible and 1 point for staying in school or graduating. For schools that do not offer scholarships, recruited student-athletes (that are on the varsity roster) are tracked.
