Chloe Perkins Awarded Mountain West Freshman of the Week Honors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., - Air Force diver, Chloe Perkins, was named the Mountain West Freshman of the Week, as released by conference officials on Tuesday morning. This is the second Mountain West honor received by Perkins in her career, and she remains the sole Falcon of women's swimming and diving to earn Mountain West weekly awards this season.
Perkins was the victor in both diving events of the weekend. The Raleigh, N.C. native posted a pair of personal bests, scoring 256.95 on the 1-meter and 291.50 on the 3-meter to surpass the NCAA Diving Zone Standard and sweep the competition. She logged 18 total points to help push Air Force to the 3-0 shutout of Mines, Northern Colorado, and UTRGV.
She was joined in Mountain West awards by Julia Matney (Fresno State) as the Swimmer of the Week and Valentina Lopez Arevalo (San Diego State) as the Diver of the Week.
