Air Force freshman Carter Nogle (141) and Brian Burburija (197) alongside senior team captain Gage Musser (184) tallied wins for the Falcons.
NDSU opened the dual strong with a decision and technical fall at 125 and 133, respectively. Sophomore 125-pounder Bubba Wright was narrowly bested by Tristan Daugherty in SV1, marking the first overtime period for AF this season.
Nogle had the highlight performance with a pin (4:11) against junior 141-pounder Gideon Cole. Nogle was up on the score card, 10-1, before sticking Cole to his back to put AF on the board. Nogle upped his season total wins to 17 with 11 pins, the most on the team in wins and pins.
The Bison rattled off wins from 149 to 174, tabulating two major decisions and two decisions in four matches.
