Air Force Completes Day One At Colorado Cup

Air Force men's tennis completed day one action Friday at the Colorado Cup, hosted by the University of Denver at Denver Tennis Park. The Falcons came away with five wins on the day.
The Falcons opened with a doubles win as Alec Fritzinger and Matthew Staton defeated Diallo/Stewart of Montana State 7-5.
In the hidden dual against Gonzaga, the Falcons posted a win in doubles and three in singles. The pair of Fritzinger and Staton defeated Hutchinson/Rashed 6-3 in doubles.
In singles, Phillip Deaton, Staton and Langdon Tingleaf picked up wins.
Deaton defeated Giovanni Branchetti in straight sets 7-6 (4), 6-3. Staton defeated Diego Herrera in straight sets, 6-2, 6-1. Tingleaft won in straight sets over James Hutchinson 6-2, 6-1.
The Falcons return to action Sunday against Grand Canyon/Montanan State.
