Falcon Divers Wrap Up NCAA Zone E

FEDERAL WAY, Wash., - The Falcons, represented by Kacey Hu, Chloe Perkins, Alex Kenyon, Brady Nichol, and Jack Roby, closed out their time at the NCAA Zone E competition, on Wednesday afternoon at the Weyerhauser King County Aquatic Center.
"The team had a fantastic meet in Federal Way," expressed head coach Kyle Van Valkenburg.
On the women's side, Perkins recorded a score of 219.45 in the 3-Meter preliminary round, for 42nd place. The freshman ended her first time at Zones with a 37th-place score of 208.65 on the 1-Meter.
Hu marked a score of 196.10 on the 1-Meter to finish in 44th, while taking 40th on the platform after scoring 156.00.
For the men, Kenyon finished in the highest placement for Air Force, at 27th after scoring a 282.40 on the 3-Meter. The senior finished in 26th on the 1-Meter with a score of 231.95. On Kenyon's performance, Van Valkenburg said, "He capped off a phenomenal diving career with two beautiful performances in 1-Meter and 3-Meter springboard."
Roby notched a score of 212.85 to place 29th on the 1-Meter springboard and claimed 30th on the 3-Meter after scoring 251.55.
Van Valkenburg commented, "Our four freshman competed well, but most importantly gained extremely valuable competition experience which will help our team be competitive at the very top levels of the NCAA in the near future."
