WOODLAND, Calif., - Air Force men's swimming and diving returns to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) beginning with the 2025-26 season, as released by federation officials on Thursday morning. Familiar foes, UNLV and Wyoming will also make the switch to the MPSF.
"The MPSF is proud to welcome Air Force," said MPSF Commissioner Foti Mellis, "…these institutions bring a strong tradition of athletic and academic excellence, and their addition reflects our conference's continued growth and competitive depth…"
This marks the second stint for the Falcons as a member, as they previously competed in the MPSF during the 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons, before joining the Western Athletic Conference in 2014.
The MPSF men's swimming and diving program is now comprised of Air Force, California Baptist, Pacific, University of the Incarnate Word, UNLV, and Wyoming. The conference championships will take place on February 25-28 at UTRGV in Rio Grande Valley, Tex.
Head Coach Rob Clayton expressed, "We are excited to be joining the MPSF and see some familiar faces with Wyoming, UNLV, and Cal Baptist, whom we have been competing against for years."
Air Force is also a current MPSF member in fencing and men's gymnastics.
