Men’s Tennis Places Three On Academic All-MW Team

Air Force men's tennis had three cadet-athletes make the 2025 Spring Academic All-Mountain West team, announced by the conference office.

Recent graduate Arjun Kersten, rising senior Phillp Deaton and rising junior Alec Fritzinger earned academic All-MW honors.

Air Force placed 93 cadet-athletes on the spring academic All-MW team, which is the second-most in school history and the most since the school record of 97 in 2021-22.

Mountain West spring sports include baseball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's golf, softball, women's gymnastics, women's swimming and diving, men's and women's tennis and men's and women's indoor and outdoor track and field.

To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and must have competed in 50 percent of the team's completed varsity contests (or 25 percent in the case of baseball/softball pitchers).
