Air Force Announces 2025 Cross Country Schedule

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. – The Air Force cross country team released its schedule for the upcoming 2025 season this morning (Aug. 6), as Ryan Cole, the Falcons' director of track & field and cross country, announced the eight-race schedule that begins later this month.
The Falcons officially kick off the 2025 campaign on Aug. 29, when they host the annual AFXC Classic at Monument Valley Park in Colorado Springs. The squad will then travel to Lincoln, Neb., for the Woody Greeno / Jay Dirksen Invitational on Sept. 20, before splitting for competitions at the Gans Creek Classic in Columbia, Mo., and the Ted Castaneda Invitational in Colorado Springs over the Sept. 26-27 weekend. Air Force will close out the regular season at the Bill Dellinger Invitational in Springfield, Ore., on Oct. 10.
The squad's postseason run begins on Oct. 31, when Air Force heads to Fresno, Calif., for the Mountain West Championships. The Falcons will then race at the NCAA Mountain Regional in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Nov. 14, before closing out the season at the NCAA Championships in Columbia on Nov. 22.
