Christopher Creedon Named MW Freshman of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Following an impressive collegiate debut, first-year Air Force runner Christopher Creedon was named the Mountain West Cross Country Freshman of the Week this afternoon (Sept. 23) – marking the Falcons' first freshmen honoree in two years.
With an 8K debut of 25:34.6, Creedon finished 36th out of 316 runners at the Woody Greeno / Jay Dirksen Invitational on Sept. 20. The Falcons' top freshman finisher, Creedon was the ninth-fastest freshmen in the overall field.
The Falcons are back in action this weekend, when they split for a pair of meets. Part of the team will travel to Columbia, Mo., for the Gans Creek Invitational on Friday, Sept. 26, while the rest remain in Colorado Springs for the Ted Castaneda on Saturday, Sept. 27.
