Slife Captures Four MW Gymnast of the Week Honors, Ranks Eighth Nationally as All-Around Gymnast

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Air Force Women's Gymnastics' junior gymnast Maggie Slife continues to own the scene across the league, as the reigning Mountain West Gymnast of the Year proved the conference's top scorer in three of four events in the Falcons opening week.

Slife, who claimed the top spot in three events and a share of the fourth in Air Force's 194.750 win over Winona State on Jan. 9, was named Mountain West Specialist of the Week in uneven bars (9.900), balance beam (9.875) and floor exercise (9.875).

Slife, who closed week one for the Falcons with a 39.425 in the all around, scored the league's first Gymnast of the Week award in 2026. Slife's collective performances rank the junior eighth nationally in the all around and makes Slife the highest-ranked non-Power Four all arounder in the country to date.
