Air Force With Five Wins In Final Day at Utah Invitational

Air Force men's tennis completed day three at the Utah Invitational on Sunday, hosted by the University of Utah at the George S. Eccles Tennis Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Falcons came away with five wins on the day.

The Falcons wrapped up the three-day invite with a pair of doubles and three singles wins.

In doubles, Air Force earned wins over Utah State. The pair of Langdon Tingleaf and Muyang Yi won their match 6-3. Daniel Tonkal and Kai Stolaruk teamed to also win 6-3 in their match.

In singles, it was a trio of freshmen that came away with wins against Utah State. Yi won his match over Max Kohler 7-6 (1), 7-6 (4). Chow won over Emmanuel Alex 6-3, 7-5. Woller-Li took down Alejandro Daniel Garcia 6-2, 7-6 (3).

Head Coach Evan Urbina recapping Saturday:
"It was good to see Muyang, Caleb, and Jaden get in the win column today. Langdon Tingleaf actually stepped in as a player coach after his match and showed great leadership to help those guys in their matches. After we wrapped up the tournament today, we had good conversation involving the team about what we can improve individually and collectively heading into Regionals. Several themes were positivity, confidence and belief, and supporting each other with great energy regardless of the score. I know our team will enjoy the rest day tomorrow and we are excited to compete against the best players in the region beginning Tuesday. Go Falcons!"

The Falcons have a day off from competition, before returning to action Tuesday at the ITA Fall Mountain Regional, held in Provo, Utah.
