Samuelson led Falcons in Hawai’i - Air Force Academy Athletics

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Senior Grant Samuelson led the Air Force golf team at the second annual Pearl at Kalauao Invitational, Nov. 4-5, in 'Aiea, O'ahu, Hawai'i.

Samuelson's 69 (-3) in the second round was the best round of the tournament in Hawai'i and the second best of his career. He finished the tournament as the top Falcon at 227 (+11). Senior Carson Baker finished at 229, followed by sophomore Ben Zeiler (230), freshman Daniel Chazen (231) and senior El Huntington (234).

Three Falcons competed as individuals with freshman Jack Halloran leading the way at (229), followed by freshman Grant Baer (241) and senior Karson Knox (243).

Augusta won the tournament with an 861 (-3). West Virginia (872) was second and Loyola Marymount was third (876) Air Force placed 14^th with a 914. In the second round, the Falcons shot a 292 (+4), tying as the fourth best round of the season.

This concludes the fall season for the Falcons. The spring season begins with the UTSA Military City Collegiate, Feb. 21-23, at TPC San Antonio, Texas.
