
Bachl and Kampschror Earn Mountain West Weekly Awards

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., - A pair of Falcons, Lily Bachl and Reagan Kampschror, swept the Mountain West weekly awards, as released by conference officials on Tuesday morning. Senior Bachl was named the Mountain West Swimmer of the Week for the first time in her career, while Reagan Kampschror earned her first conference honor as the Mountain West Freshman of the Week.
At the Denver First Chance Invite, Bachl picked up her first 100 free win of the season, defeating 25 other swimmers with a time of 51.47. She earned silver in the 50 free after clocking a time of 23.53 and also served as the anchor in a second place 200 free relay (1:33.47) and a fifth place 200 medley relay team (1:44.99). The Austin, Tx., native also collected a sixth-place finish with a 100 fly time of 57.34.

Freshman, Kampschror, earned her first career weekly award following her performance this weekend. At 2:20.85, the Falls Church, Va., native recorded her first collegiate win in 200 breast, while also earning a podium finish in the 100 breast with her season-best time of 1:04.07. Kampschror swam the breast split of the 200 medley relay to help her team take third and locked in a personal best 50 free time of 24.93.
