3/24/2026 5:29:00 PM | Cross Country, Track and Field
NEW ORLEANS – The Air Force men are listed 18th in the post-indoor edition of the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Program of the Year Rankings. Air Force is one of just 21 teams in the NCAA that has accounted for scoring finishes at the first two championships of the 2025-26 season, with cross country finishing 20th this fall and Texas Tanner giving the Falcons a 39th-place finish earlier this month at the indoor championships.
The USTFCCCA Program of the Year award recognizes programs that have achieved success at the three NCAA Championship meets (cross country, indoor track and field, outdoor track and field) during each academic year and based on the institution's finish at each championship.
Air Force has been mentioned at the midway point three times since the award was created in 2013-14.
