Manheim, PA – The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) has announced the NCAA Division I Men's Scholar All-American Awards, recognizing outstanding academic achievement by individual student-athletes across the nation.
Carter Nogle earned his second All-America honor of the season, this time for academic excellence. Nogle, a business management major with a 3.085 GPA, joins an elite list of Air Force's NWCA Scholar All-Americans. He is the second Falcon wrestler, Wyatt Hendrickson being the first, to earn NCAA All-American and NWCA Scholar All-American in the same season.
A total of 390 student-athletes representing 73 institutions were recognized for their academic success in the classroom while competing throughout the season.
The scholar awards follow the conclusion of the 2026 NCAA Division I Men's Championships, which took place March 19-21. Nogle finished fifth place in the 141 division to notch his first All-American honor. He is the first C3C to earn All-America since 1962.
"These student-athletes have demonstrated a strong commitment to excellence both on the mat and in the classroom. We commend their dedication and the example they set for the sport." — NWCA Executive Director Mike Moyer
