
Jack Brown takes home MVP Honors For 2025-26 Men’s Tennis Awards

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force men's tennis announced its team award winners for the 2025-26 season at their season-ending get together. Senior Jack Brown was named the teams' Most Valuable Player.
Brown led Air Force in singles win percentage in Mountain West play, going 3-1. His 31 total wins, in addition to 16 combined singles and 15 doubles wins ranked third on the team. Brown graduates as a two-time All-MW doubles selection, with 94 career wins.
Senior AJ Moore earned the Shannon Buck/Iron Bolt Award for excellence in strength/conditioning. Moore ranked second on the team with 34 total wins on the season. He moved up to No. 1 singles late in the season, playing at No. 1 across the final seven matches and leading the team with three wins at No. 1 singles. Moore graduates with 120 career wins.
Junior Tyler Leaird earned the team Most Improved Player award. Leaird had a breakout junior season, teaming with Jack Brown at No. 1 doubles, earning seven wins at No. 1 doulbles. Leaird had 26 total wins on the season, with 11 in singles and 15 in doubles.
Sophomore Langdon Tingleaf earned the Lightning Bolt Award for the most singles and doubles wins in dual match season. Tingleaf led the Falcons with 24 combined wins in duals play (14 singles, 10 doubles). In addition, Tingleaf led the team in total combined wins on the season with 37 (21 singles, 16 doubles).
Senior Phillip Deaton earned the Coach Gugat "Attitude is Everything" award for the second straight season. Deaton posted 21 total wins on the season and tied for the team-lead with three wins at No. 1 singles. He graduates with 115 career wins.
