
Five Falcons Earn Big 12 All-Academic Honors

696 Student-Athletes Honored on Big 12 Conference’s Winter All-Academic Team
Five Falcons represent Air Force on the Big 12 Conference 2026 Winter All-Academic Team announced by the league Thursday afternoon. The conference honored 696 student-athletes who participated in the league's winter sports of men's and women's basketball, gymnastics, equestrian, men's and women's swimming and diving and wrestling across the 16-member institutions and its affiliate members.
To qualify for the Winter Academic Team, student-athletes must maintain a 3.20 GPA or higher, either cumulative or over the two previous semesters, and must have participated in 20% of their team's scheduled contests. Freshmen are not eligible, while transfers in their first year of academic residence are eligible. Senior student-athletes who have participated for a minimum of two years and meet all the criteria except percent of participation are also eligible.
