New digital platform delivers enhanced fan experience, expanded access, and innovative monetization opportunities
LAS VEGAS — The Mountain West today announced the launch of MW+, its new direct-to-consumer digital subscription platform, powered by leading streaming technology and services company, Kiswe. The platform marks a significant step forward in the Conference's digital evolution, delivering expanded access to live and on-demand content, while creating new opportunities for fan engagement and revenue generation for member institutions. A majority of each subscription purchased through a member school's dedicated page will directly support that institution, creating a scalable and sustainable revenue opportunity aligned with fan engagement.
Air Force's football games against Duquesne (Sept. 5) and UConn (Oct. 31), along with all of Air Force's home and away Mountain West contests and other original content will be available on MW+.
"The launch of MW+ is an important evolution of Mountain West streaming capabilities," said Air Force Director of Athletics Nathan Pine. " It also gives Air Force fans worldwide access to view our competitions along with the ability to financially support our department through the dedicated Air Force subscription page. Direct-to-consumer platforms are now a common partner to television broadcasts in collegiate athletics and will be an easy way for our fans to see hundreds of Air Force sporting events each year."
Built to bring fans closer to the action than ever before, MW+ will serve as the dedicated home for Mountain West and member school live events, original programming, and on-demand content. Through its partnership with Kiswe, the Conference is introducing a modern, interactive viewing experience designed for today's fans—one that is flexible, accessible, and built for scale.
"MW+ is a game-changer for the Mountain West," said Mountain West Commissioner Gloria Nevarez. "Not only are we expanding how fans connect with our schools and student-athletes, but we're also creating a powerful new revenue stream that directly benefits our member institutions. This is about building the future of our Conference, and this platform allows us to deliver more of our stories, more of our student-athletes, and more of our live events directly to the audiences who care most."
MW+ will provide:
MW+ will offer an annual subscription for $79.99 and a monthly subscription for $10.99.
To celebrate the launch, the Conference will offer a limited-time early adopter promotion. Fans who purchase an annual subscription in July, August, and September will receive a $67.99 rate, a 15% discount off the standard annual price.
"MW+ is a platform where every school, every sport, and every athlete has a home to tell their stories," said Kiswe CEO, Glenn Booth. "It will not only allow students, faculty, alumni, friends, and family to come together as a community to support their favorite team or athlete, but will also provide direct and material financial benefit to each school. We're excited to partner with the Mountain West on this revolutionary new media model and look forward to bringing MW+ to life in 2026."
The launch of MW+ underscores the Conference's commitment to innovation, visibility, and long-term sustainability. By owning and operating its own platform, the Mountain West is positioning itself—and its member schools—for continued growth in an evolving media landscape.

About the Mountain West
Since its founding in 1999, the Mountain West has remained steadfast in its commitment to excellence in intercollegiate athletics while advancing the academic missions of its member institutions. Central to that mission is the holistic development of our student-athletes—championing their success not only in competition but also in the classroom and in their personal growth. Beginning with the 2026–27 season, the Mountain West will feature a comprehensive membership model that brings together full-time, all-sport institutions alongside select sport-specific members. The Conference's all-sport members—United States Air Force Academy; University of Hawai'i at Mānoa; University of Nevada, Reno; University of Nevada, Las Vegas; University of New Mexico; San José State University; University of Texas at El Paso, and University of Wyoming, will compete across the full Mountain West portfolio, including football. University of California, Davis, and Grand Canyon University will join as all-sport members outside of football, while Colorado College (women's soccer), North Dakota State University (football), Northern Illinois University (football and women's gymnastics), and Utah Tech University (baseball and men's soccer) will compete as affiliate members in designated sports.
