Air Force announces 2026 water polo schedule

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - The Air Force men's water polo team announced its 2026 schedule. The Falcons host 10 home games, including its home-opener against service academy rival Navy on Sept. 24.
The Falcons open the season Aug. 29-30 at the Bruno Classic in Cambridge, Mass./Providence, R.I. The Falcons take on MIT and Harvard on Aug. 29 in Cambridge and LIU, Connecticut College and Brown on Aug. 30 in Providence.
After a midweek neutral-site game, Sept. 2 vs. Iona in Greenwich, CT, the Falcons participate in the Navy Open in Annapolis, Md., from Sept. 5-6. The Falcons take on Princeton and Johns Hopkins on the fifth and Mount St. Mary's and George Washington on the sixth.
Air Force next participates in the Fullerton Tournament, held Sept. 11-12 in Fullerton, Calif. The Falcons take on Redlands and Chapman on the 11th and host CSUF and Concordia-Irvine on the 12th.
The Falcons then play six straight at home, beginning with the Sept. 24 showdown with Navy, where the teams will play for the Freedom Vase. That weekend sees Air Force host the Rare Air Challenge, with games on Sept. 26 against Biola, Cerritos (exhibition) and UC Santa Barbara and Sept. 27 against Wagner and Austin College.
Air Force is back on the road Oct. 3-4, taking part in the Gary Troyer Invite in Pomona/Claremont, Calif. The Falcons return home Oct. 10 for its WCC-opener against Pepperdine and an afternoon game against Austin College.
Air Force then has WCC road games, traveling to St. Mary's on Oct. 16 and UC Davis on Oct. 18. The following weekend has the Falcons at USC on Oct. 24 and UC Irvine on Oct. 25.
The final weekend of home games is Oct. 30 vs. LMU and Nov. 1 against Pacific. The Falcons round out WCC regular-season play Nov. 6 at San Jose State and Nov. 8 at Santa Clara. The 2026 WCC Championships is Nov. 20-22 in Santa Clara.
