Air Force Men’s Water Polo Welcomes Class of 2030

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force men's water polo welcomes 13 freshmen that comprise the class of 2030, announced today by head coach Ryan Brown.
Cayden Bartusek, Pierce Bateman, John Cowles, Brandon Hansen, Nolan Hicks, Tobin Hunt, Wesley Musgrove, William Stewart, Sam Storrs, Wyatt Sturgeon, Colin Sullivan, Brandonw Walton and Matthew Woodroof join the program in 2026. The group represents players from five different states, with eight hailing from California and one from the Czech Republic.
Cayden Bartusek - GK - Prague, Czech Republic (Jesuit Dallas)
Earned seven varsity letters, three in water polo and four in lacrosse … picked up sport as a sophomore … 344 saves as a senior, earning first-team all-region, team MVP, first-team academic all-state … first-team all-district and first-team academic all-state as a junior … team MVP as a sophomore … all-state attackman in lacrosse … played for Czech Men's National Lacrosse Team as a starter and played for the team that qualified for 2028 Olympics ... his dad played pro football for the Prague Panthers in the Czech Republic for six years.
Pierce Bateman - CD - Columbus, OH (St. Charles Prep)
Ohio Player of the Year … 2x All-American … 3x first-team all-state … team MVP as a senior … first-team all-state in swimming … won water polo and swimming state titles as a junior and senior … surpassed 100 goals his last three years at St. Charles … earned seven varsity letters, earning three in water polo and four in swimming … swam the 100 back … also competed for CT premier, USA Junior team for National League ... dad wrestled at Syracuse … brother, Chase, swam at Iona … bother, Reed, played lacrosse at John Carroll University.
