Air Force announces 2026-27 Rifle Schedule

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – The Air Force rifle team will open the 2026-27 season on Saturday, Oct. 17, with a home dual against the University of Mississippi at the USAFA Rifle Range.

After a dual at Army (Nov. 7), the Falcons will compete against Army and Navy for the annual President's Trophy, Nov. 8, at West Point, N.Y.

Air Force returns home for a dual against the University of Nebraska and Alaska-Fairbanks, Saturday, Jan. 23, at the USAFA Rifle Range.

The Falcons will compete in the Patriot Rifle Conference Championships, Feb. 5-6, in Lincoln, Neb., while the NCAA Championships will be March 12-13 in Statesboro, Ga.

Led by team captain senior Megan Torrence, the Falcons return of pair of NCAA individual qualifiers from last season. Sophomore Lily Miller and junior Lily Wytko both qualified for the NCAA Championships in air rifle a season ago. Wytko was named an honorable mention All-American in air rifle from the Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association in 2025-26.
