U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Air Force men's swimming and diving is set to embark on the 2026-27 season, marking a new chapter as the Falcons return to the Mountain West Conference for the first time since 2011.

The Falcons will get an early look at the competition at the Horsetooth Open Water Swim on Sept. 13 in Fort Collins, Colo., before officially returning to the pool for the annual Blue/Silver intrasquad on Sept. 19.
Air Force will continue its annual tradition at the Front Range Invite, Oct. 2-3, before opening dual-meet competition on the road against Mountain West foe Wyoming on Oct. 10. The Falcons will make their home debut on Oct. 16, welcoming Washington State to Cadet Natatorium.
November will bring another conference test as Air Force travels to Grand Canyon for a dual meet, Nov. 6-7. The Falcons will then head to Dallas, Texas, for the SMU Invitational, Nov. 18-21, where they will face another strong field as the season begins to heat up.
Following the new year, Air Force will return to its home waters to host Seattle U, Colorado School of Mines and Colorado Mesa in a quad meet, Jan. 8-9. The Falcons will then head west to UNLV, Jan. 15-16, for their final dual-meet action of the regular season.
With the championship portion of the season on the horizon, Air Force diving will host its annual invitational, Jan. 28-30. The Colorado Sprint Championship will also return to Cadet Natatorium on Jan. 30, giving the Falcons another opportunity to compete on their home deck.
Air Force will make its final tune-up before postseason competition at the Denver First Chance Invite, Feb. 5-6. The Falcons will then travel to Houston for the Mountain West Conference Championships, Feb. 16-20, marking their return to the conference championship stage.
The Falcons will look to carry that momentum into the postseason, with NCAA Diving Zone E set for March 8-10, followed by the CSCAA National Invitational Championships, March 11-13. The season will culminate at the NCAA Championships, March 24-27.
