JUNIOR YEAR | 2021: Received the team’s Character and Leadership Award…competed in five meets…Falcons’ No. 2 runner at the Bill Dellinger Invitational (21:08.9, 54th)…also scored for the Falcons at the Mountain West Championships…posted a personal-best 6K of 20:56.9 to finish 36th out of 97 runners at that meet…clocked a 21:57.4 to finish 27th out of 89 runners in the ‘B’ race at the Nuttycombe Invitational…added a 22:12.7 mark at the NCAA Mountain Regional (69th)…opened the season with a three-mile time of 18:01.4 at the Air Force Open.
SOPHMORE YEAR | 2020: Competed in both meets of the pandemic-shortened season…clocked a career-best 6K time of 21:57.2 to earn a scoring finish at the Mountain West Championships (49th)…made collegiate debut at the Silver State Challenge, posting a time of 22:02.8 to finish 15th in the 41-runner field.
FRESHMAN YEAR | 2019: Did not compete.
MAJOR TRACK AND FIELD HIGHLIGHTS: Debuted in ninth on the Academy’s all-time 800-meter run standings after clocking a time of 2:11.69 at the 2021 Mountain West Outdoor Championships.
HIGH SCHOOL: Wheaton Academy...three-time state qualifier (once in the 800-meter run, twice in cross country)...all-conference and all-sectional honoree as an 800-meter runner...school record-holder in that event...all-conference and all-state selection in cross country...served as captain of the track and field team...also served as the captain of the JV basketball team...member of the National Honor Society and the French Honor Society.
