Before the Academy: Competed for Naples Fencing Academy … coached by German Paz … 2013 U.S. Cadet National Team, top 8 in Budapest, Hungary World Cup … Top 32 Cabries, France World Cup … 2014 NAC, Cadet Men’s Foil top 8 finish … qualified for the Div. I men’s foil championship in 2015 and 2016.
Personal: Member of cadet squadron 16 … son of Johnn and Diana Griffith … has two brothers … brother, Johnny, is a 2019 graduate of the Academy and was a member of the USAFA rugby team … father competed in swimming and water polo in college … future career plans are to become a pilot … why I decided to come to the Academy: “I have always wanted to serve in the military. My father was a Navy pilot and later served in the Army as a dentist, so I was exposed to the military for all of my life. I came to the Academy so that I can become an exemplary officer in the United States Air Force, to serve and give back to the greatest country in the world.
