JUNIOR | 2020-21: Named to both the Academic All-Mountain West team ... qualified for the C-Final at the MW Championships, finishing 20th overall in the 50 free ... helped the 200 free relay squad to a season-best 1:34.27 and seventh place finish at the MW Championships ... second-fastest time on the team in the 50 free (23.82) ... third-fastest time oon the team in the 100 free (52.77) ... swam a personal season-best of 1:55.93 in the 200 free ... helped the 400 free relay team to the fast time of the season (3:27.86).
SOPHOMORE | 2019-20: Named to both the Academic All-Mountain West team, as well as the Mountain West Scholar Athlete team…Had the team’s third-fastest time on the season in both the 50 free (23.76) and 100 free (52.48)…Was also a member of the teams fastest 200 and 400 free relay squads on the year…Named to the Dean’s, Comm’s, AD’s, and Supt’s lists.
FRESHMAN | 2018-19: Earned Academic All-Mountain West honors…Had three top-five team finishes on the season, including swimming the third fastest 50 free (23.96) and 200 free (1:53.58) times, as well as the fourth quickest 100 free time (53.27)…Was a member of the team’s fastest 200 free relay (1:34.52), 800 free relay (7:34.48) and 200 medley relay (1:42.38) squads…Named to the Superintendents list in the spring semester.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Was a four year letterwinner in high school, while also swimming club for Loggerhead Aquatics…Was a championship finalist in three different states (California, Virginia, Florida), and an all-league honoree in all three as well…Is a record holder in the Diablo Foothill Athletic League and at South Country High School…Was Creekside High School’s team MVP in 2018, while helping her team to a 3A State Championship…Is a three-time Winter Junior Championship qualifier, and was named an All-American in the 200 and 400 freestyle relay…Named a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American…Was a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society…Also named an AP Scholar with distinction.
PERSONAL: Member of cadet squadron 40…Daughter of Mike and Beth Campbell…Has one sister, Shannon…Majoring in biochemistry with a minor in Spanish…Plans to go to medical school…Has successfully completed a half marathon…Lists her greatest individual achievement as qualifying for Winter Juniors, and greatest team moment was winning the Florida State Championship…Both parents are Coast Guard Officers…Grandfather, Charles, also served in the Coast Guard, while her great-grandfathers, Theodore and Robert, served in the Navy and Army, respectively…Chose the Academy because “I want to serve and give back to my country, be part of a force working for the greater good, and I want the chance to possibly become a doctor in the Air Force.”
