SOPHOMORE | 2019-20: Participated in all three dives during the season, and had season-highs on the 1M (287.18), 3M (304.20), and platform (217.85)…At the 2020 WAC Championships, placed fifth on the 3M.

FRESHMAN | 2018-19: Finished with the team’s second best score in the 3-meter (283.50) and platform (231.20), as well as the third best 1-meter (264.50)…At the WAC Championships, placed ninth in the 3-meter, and 10th in the 1-meter.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Earned two letters for his high school while also diving for Scarecrow Diving Club…Broke the league diving record, while going on to win the County Championships his senior year…For club, qualified for Nationals four years in a row, and placed within the top 50 each time…Was named to the Honor Roll every semester of high school, and graduated with a GPA over a 4.0.

PERSONAL: Son of Michael and Stephanie Macceca…Has one younger sister, Madeline…Undecided on a major…Credits his parents for having the biggest influence on his diving career…Both grandfathers served in the military, Joe in the Marines and John in the Army.
